Future Reflections All Music Guide Review:
Employing a variety of instruments that range from electronic drums and keyboards to bodhran, dumbek and Tibetan bells, Michael D'Agostino's album, Future Reflections, is a multi-layered veneer of ethnic elements over a percussive framework that occasionally leans towards dance music,
not unlike the sounds of Dead Can Dance or Deep Forest. D'Agostino manages to be a virtual one-man band on the recording assisted by Jeff Thall on guitar/keyboards(with Thall also sharing composer credits on two songs),but he also takes advantage of the skills that he has honed for years as a composer to create an album that shimmers with many differnt textures. D'Agostino also seems to have developed the steady hand and vision to make music of this sort sound deep and resonant without being cluttered. All Music Guide Pick: Three Stars

King Chubby "IS"
King Chubby's music is absolutely incomparable yet feels as if it has always been there in your imagination. The five who are King Chubby bring a diverse range of talents and experience to this music while sharing a vision of a kaleidoscopic world of grooves and melody. The music is atmospheric, rhythmic, sensuous, funny, high tech, low tech, no tech. The mix of electronics, bass and percussion, handmade instruments and flutes large and small is totally, uniquely accessible.
